DUBAI – JTB Corp., Japan’s leading travel solutions provider, has announced the establishment of a branch office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The new office, set to begin operations in January 2026, marks the company’s entry into the Middle East market. The move is part of JTB’s strategic expansion of its B2B travel solution business, catering to the region’s dynamic corporate environment and affluent travel market.
Dubai has rapidly developed into a global business hub, attracting multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals. With growing interest in Japan as a destination among Middle Eastern travellers, JTB aims to capture the demand for both business services and inbound tourism. The decision follows extensive research and feasibility studies carried out since 2024.
What will it offer?
The Dubai branch will deliver a wide range of corporate services, including the planning and management of opening ceremonies, incentive travel programmes, award events, and business meetings. Additional offerings include business travel management, marketing support for companies entering the Middle East, and inspection tours. The branch will also work to boost inbound tourism to Japan by aligning with national tourism strategies and local government initiatives.
Who will lead it?
The new office, named JTB Dubai Branch, will operate as JTB Pte Ltd Middle East Sales Office. Naoki Kobayashi has been appointed as the representative of the branch.
Where will it operate?
The branch will be located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, ensuring regulatory compliance through the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA). This location provides strategic access to businesses operating across the UAE and the wider Middle East.
